While not recommended, it is possible to skip the automatic check for a newer version of WinMount upon startup. To skip the check, simply add the command line argument "skip-version-check" as the last argument in the call to the WinMount executable.
You can do that easily by simply creating a ShortCut to Winmount on your workstations and then adding " skip-version-check" to the end of the "Target"
For example the following entry in the Target of a shortcut configures a non-default mutex:
"C:\Program Files\FolderGrid\WinMount\FolderGridWinMount.exe" skip-version-check
