The messages.properties file supports Domain specific wording for some specific content under the FolderGrid portal. The file itself must be a UTF-8 encoded text file where each line stores a single property key and value separated by an equals symbol. 


To get started customizing user portal content for your Domain, simply download the attached sample "messages.properties" file and modify the values using valid HTML syntax.


The following key-value pairs are currently supported:

  • loginSigninTitle - the title of the middle column on the sign in page
  • loginSigninBanner - the messages above the sign in form
  • loginNonuserTitle - the title of the third column on the sign in page. Note that you must set a non-default Custom Support Email Address to use this content override.
  • loginNonuserBanner - the message of the third column on the sign in page. Note that you must set a non-default Custom Support Email Address to use this content override. 

When you are ready to apply these customizations, upload the messages.properties file to your Domain Styling folder.  The changes will take affect immediately however it may take as long as 24 hours for individual users' browsers to refresh the content automatically.
