All secured content on a FolderGrid domain is indexed for metadata searching. Any term in the name or comment of a file is searchable via our API and WebApp. The last term in any search string is treated as a prefix so that it matches incomplete terms as shown below:
Within the WebApp, you can click any match in the search box listing to open the folder containing the selected file or simply right-click the file in the search listing itself to perform operations upon it:
